i think they just eat crickets, they are pretty cool. saw them on fear factor as well

It should be fine with any substrate that retains moisture (but don't keep it too moist). And give it something to hide under.

I think there was a Reptile article about whip scorpions within the past year.

There are three orders of Vinegarroon (whip scorpions):

* Amblypygi - tailless whip scorpions
* Palpigradi - micro whip scorpions (less than 3 mm)
* Uropygi - whip scorpions

You need to figure out which order yours is classified in. Then, determine the species before being able to find the proper care sheet for it. I've found vinegarroons in widely diverse climates and environments.

tailess whip is quite a skinny looking scorpion , why not a P. imperator ?

Ok I believe its the TAnzanian tailess whip scorpion. :)
