my brown african knife had a similar experience in getting stuck in rocks. he scratched up his eye and his whole body pretty badly cuz he was so stressed and fighting so hard to get out. 6 months later and you wouldn't know he had it happen. your knife will be fine. i would continue to add salt doses to help the healing

Yeah he is fine. He is eating well. I have been feeding him well and I will continue to add some aquarium salt at weekly water changes. He does not go near that rock anymore still to this day. When he initialy got stuck he was chasing a rosy red feeder and the feeder went under the rock structure to hide. Silly clown knife was just trying to get his eat on.
