Hi, I am planing on setup a new tank with tile bottom. I have seen some people success with Slate Tile and Ceramic Tile.
I am going to keep Altums in this tank, so I would need to maintain a low ph.
So, I know Ceramic Tile should not affect so much on PH, since I have been using the ceramic rings in my tank before. But, not sure on Slate Tiles.
I would prefer the outlook of Slate Tiles since, it's more natural and rough surface.
Anyone have experience with tile bottom, please share your thought.
