On two occasions bluecrabs have been found in Missouri rivers.great whites apparently have some tolerance for brackish water,and on at least one occasion a great white got stuck in a nearly pure freshwater lake after high water,but I have no idea how long a great white could survive in full fresh(I doubt very long)

Odd catches I've caught:coot,fw jellyfish,mutated horse leech. What other people have caught:fishing spider(on a minnow),bats (particularly while fly fishing),some one caught a live grenade inside a sock.

A live octopus was found in a Arkansas lake,a redtail shark was caught in Missouri.

bull sharks have been found in lake lake itasca mn also lake Michigan and Illinois river . a gator has been spotted multiple times in des plains river and people believe its the same one and that it winters in the warm water discharges that stay well above freezing even in the harshest winter.

got a 1 eyed blue gil other day wasnt missing and eye didn't even have a socket on the right side.
