How old is it? And where the hell do you get a whale bone?

I would go through the standard boil, bleach, rinse, treat, etc to prepare it for life (or afterlife) in the tank.

its already been scrubbed and such
and I find them fairly often at my cottage, one time we found a 9ft long rib bone, theres also two shipwrecks nearby and last year the skin of a whale washed up on our sea wall and we thought it was a polar bear because it was this huge thing with white hair, turned out to be a piece from a dead humpback and the white "fur" was decayed blubber fibers, cool huh!
I live on Prince Edward Island, Canada btw

Yeah, being near the beach has perks. I have some pieces of a large seal in the hobby room. Their femurs and short and square. Took me awhile to figure out what animal it came from.

You have a catfish hiding in the hole? Is the vertebra standing upright or laying flat? This is a good idea for a hidey.
