What happened to my platinum endli??

Bought my platinum endli had it less that 48 hours and this happened ..... All water perimeters were perfect when I introduced it to the tank and it had no tank mates I went to town for a few hours in was solid white looked fine came home and it looked like this

It died a few hours after those pics were takin

Looks like he got stuck on an intake or something. If he got stuck some prefilter sponge should do the trick. Otherwise I can't be certain, he clearly got hurt on something. Sorry to hear he died and quite surprised by that to.

didnt get stuck on intake it is only a 20 gal filter it's not strong enough to suck a 4" bichir to it

Yeah probably not that then. Second guess would be jumped into something, but I'm honestly not sure so I will leave it the experts.
