What media for Histrix

Whats the best media in a RenaX4 for a Histrix?

You would prolly want to just get a wetdry.. or just use whatever comes with the filter

I do have a wet/dry. I also have a RenaX4 and need some feed back on what to put in it to give a ray a nice place to live in. Carbon etc... Need some tips

Are you planning to use the rena for bio filtration or mech filtration?
For bio, media with the largest surface area will do the trick. Otherwise spunges or something.

eheim substrate pro seachem matrix they are medias that I use take your pick bio is bio those 2 have more surface area than most others.....

I've heard of people using small chunks of lava rock for media in their XP filters.
