Thanks for the recommendation on the discus.

It's my husband's set up and I am trying to weigh cutting down hours at work to be more at home with the kids and me being more involved with the tank / breeding upkeep.

So, yes, the majority of capital costs are over with, with what exists. There is room to expand and add more, but obviously need to weigh the maintenance aspect as well. Just needed some independent verification / a general consensus on potential. Thanks so much!

Cool stuff. Maybe a drip system is worth it?

If you breed quality discus you will have people from all over clamouring for them. Can we have pics?

Any koi is going to need an enourmous tank or most typically a pond. So id say this is a great idea, if you have a 1000+ gallon tank. If not some smaller fish would be great. But high quality koi have an insane amount of babies and they sell for normally over $10 depending on size and quality. You can make a living off of koi lol. You just gotta get the right ones ;)

Hey Man, I read this post from you and I was wondering, what are in your opinion the right type of koi to breed?
