Panama Loiselle Sexing Help Please

This is my first Loiselle and there aren't too many pics on the web period - let alone at smaller sized. This one is around 5.5" to 6" total length. I'm thinking male, but am not sure. Any advice would be appreciated. BTW, I love this fish - my favorite Parachromis now - has a personality like an Amphilophus

With the caveat that I have only had one of each, and both are not full grown,for these two fish yes - the Loiselle is much better looking and way more owner responsive - so far....

Look like a male, but not a Panama. Panamas are more orange than yellow. This is a male loisellie I had.

Look like a male, but not a Panama. Panamas are more orange than yellow. This is a male loisellie I had.

Thanks - I got him/her from Dan at Cichlids of the Americas, so a pretty reliable source. Either way, interesting to know that the location can change the appearance that much. If it ends up looking like your male, I would be extremely happy - nice looking fish you have there.

I must be slow - for all the venting pics and comments I've reviewed, I can never be sure. Plus, I'd have a really hard time until bigger catching it with all the structure j have in my tank
