This is my first Freddy - it is about 4.5 - 5" TL. Any help sexing would be greatly appreciated. I wasn't a fan of this fish at first - hid most of the time and dull - starting to come out now and you can see nice blue in the fins if the light catches it just right - time will tell, but I'm not sure. On a positive note, it doesn't bother anyone.Freddy 4 9-21-2016.JPG Freddy 1 9-21-2016.JPG Freddy 2 9-21-2016.JPG Freddy 3 9-21-2016.JPG Freddy 5 9-21-2016.JPG

Hmm going by pattern on the Gill plate and lack of spots. I will vote female. Also fins more tapered then pointed so this also says female to me. But I have never owned a Freddy. So I'm just going on general Parachromis sexing. Always wanted one of these though.

Too late to change my vote? Haha, I'd trust Aquamojo Aquamojo more then me.

Thanks for the help. WOW!! He was definitely a late bloomer, but he looks incredible as an adult. I'll keep being patient - much appreciated

Is there any other way to get in touch with you regarding the festae you had for sale in the classifieds? This website is giving me nothing but "error" messages. It literally took me 5 days to "confirm my email" to even post. I dont know if you deleted the ad or if the forum did. Anyways, if you have an email address i can contact you regarding the festae let me know as im interested. Thank you.
