got more crays

well with all this warm weather ive got some new native crays
the list 2x male devil crayfish Cambarus (Lacunicambarus) diogenes
1x male rusty crayfish Orconectes (Procericambarus) rusticus
2x one male one female big river crayfish Cambarus (Puncticambarus) robustus

Ill post pics when i get some time :D

yeah the devil crays are my favs iam working on pics now, then i got to go see if i got more in my trap =)

sorry from some of the blurry pics the rusty didnt want to stay still if iam wrong on the IDs please tell me I know the ones a devil but iam not sure if the one is a rusty.

one other side note i went and did more research and the big river cray just dosnt fit the look or shape of the other crays so i have new IDed them as Orconectes (Gremicambarus) virilis

Looks like a rusty, but either way, sweet looking crayfish!

yeah sorry i couldnt get a better pic, when i checked my trap I had a sligtly larger female Orconectes (Gremicambarus) virilis, i put it in the tank with the virilis

I love O. virilis, they are really great crayfish to keep. Very passive for a larger species, and they adopt interesting colorations in captivity for some reason (I suspect the pH, lighting and food) has something to do with it. They're one of my favorites to go crayfishing for out here lol.

What kind of trap are you using?
