He cought him in the wild and I'm sure he returned him to the same water. It's when people "Buy" fish and then release then into un-natural waters that causes us to all pay the price by big brother.

Fish in an aquarium can be subject to disease not native to the area where you release them. These can be introduced by food, plants, deco, driftwood, gravel, etc. Never release a fish you have kept in an aquarium.
