  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Juan...never knew you lived on 112th....I have fished the upper portions of your lake near the park:thumbsup:

I lived near that park when the kids were in elementary and middle schools so they can walk to the schools. Learned to fish for Large Mouths over there from the next door neighbor's kid who was always coming home from school with his bag limit of bass. Those days are long gone after the P. Bass took over the lakes and we moved to our present location.

I still play tennis occassionally in that park though.

The area where these guys caught P. Bass, gets me my fill of fishing and I have never gone beyond bridge # 1. The farthest I've gone is the area West of bridge # 2.

Were you here just of the fishing? or do you live here too?:)

Do I fit in with the rest of the Miami drivers?

If you have driven in Manila you will do ok in Miami. At least most drivers here stop at Stop signs.:D

wish i could have gone. damn final exams:swear: .

It was a fun trip guys thanks for letting me be a part of it. Some of the fish we caught were very nice and big .....cant wait till next year hopefully ill have more spots to show you guys. But i think we are all content at all the different species we were able to catch.

just come down twice a year fishing....usually fish the backside of homestead and the upper aerojet area, cutler and falls mall strech, and gunclub up the road from you on tamiami and kendall.....we were just down the 1st weekend of may and actually stopped by hammocks park on the way back to our hotel, but do most of our heavy pbass fishing in a spot down in the glades that a few locals know about down there....alot think there are no peas there but we averaged about 40 a day;) We used to fish the lakes but as you probably know..the mayans and tilapia become annoying after awhile. This year was the first time down I actually spotted a clown knife...had been looking for a hold of them for a couple years but none south untill this year. Most of the places I fish have been places refered to me by friends that live in miami and florida city.. except for the miami lakes which I still havent messed with yet,but hope to next trip down with the boat. Next time I come down I will pm ya if you wanna meet up and do some fishing...usually only a 20min drive south of you.

you sure?? b/c when I was driving no one down there seemd to understand what a stop sign and a red light was... I dont even think they knew what a lane was.. thought I was gonna die on okechobee rd or w/e x___X

Yah that was a long walk, but lots of fun!! haha next year will be better we can do the whole thing =) haha. I caught my pbass with a lure I think and tilapia with worms along with annoying mians that were everywhere.

Oh men, jealous. I was there too early. Next yr, plz give me a call and i'm gonna go. Now i'm gonna fish at lake george hmp.
