I don’t have the information of the actual collection point but I met and talked to the person who currently keeps them at the 2008 SOCAL Meet and was told that they were collected from Mexico and brought back here by his friend. He used to own the store in Culver named "The Aquarium". I bought this fish from Gary (polomax24).

Look at this pic taken from The Cichlid Room Companion. It is a piebald, or "Pink", Paratheraps bifasciatus. And don't start with the copyright issues; I'm pretty sure no-one would blame me for using the pic to enlighten someone else.
