:ROFL: Never noticed that before. I've been debating whether I should take that rock out. It takes up a lot of space and collects a rediculous amount of waste, but I was thinking it may have benificial bacteria on/in it since it's so porous, but I don't know. If it's not providing a significant amount of surface area for bacteria, then it really isn't at all beneficial to the tank anymore (my eel used to use it as a hiding place, but now it's to big to fit through the holes). The only problem with moving it though, is that it is very heavy and my tank is 30" tall....
