hey guys do any of you breeders know what would be the most aggresive hybrid to make?

My thoughts are:

wolf x jag

red terror x green terror

(wolf x jag) X (red terror x green terror)

snakehead x African tiger fish ect

any feedback would be nice

i want a super aggressive fish just cuz i want to put it in a man made pond im planning on building and see if it would make a good game fish:headbang2 and also to have a monster in my home tank :headbang2

Theres already a really aggressive hybrid out there.. Its called a Flowerhorn lol.

Question.. Why do you have a snakehead..? You do know those are illegal to keep in the US right?

They arent illegal in all states. I have a friend whos close with a guy at a lfs and hes goin to Tennessee and hes gonna buy a few when hes there because theres no major water ways for the snakeheads to wipe the population of if theyre released.

I'm fairly certain snakeheads are illegal in all 50 states.
I'm highly certain you can't cross a snakehead with a ATF.

So your friend in Michigan i assume, will travel to Tennessee to get the snakeheads and come back? As someone else said they are illegal in all 50 states is true. DNR wont give permission to keep snakeheads just cause there are no ''major'' waterways. In Lake Davis California 1997, we spent around a million to chemically treat the entire lake just for Northern Pike that someone planted in hopes for them to reproduce so they could be fished for. The fine is anywhere from $1000-$50000 for transporting nucience fish. And snakeheads are banned from import/interstate traveling any where in the U.S. unless they are dead.

BACK TO TOPIC - If you want to talk about the ecology of invasive species and how species are illegal to protect native species, Im more than happy to discuss that as an ecologist, just not in this thread.

My Jagovii is very aggressive, even at 3". It killed 10 peacock bass in about 20 minutes, not for eating...just for fun. He's also terrorising the piranhas at the moment, and has beef with the jack dempsey double his size. Wait til he's 13"

Anyway we completely derailed your thread. I'm gonna guess that a wolf/jag would be the more aggressive hybrid.

Generally the aggression comes from the hybrid vigor, I'm not sure how much species will matter. As was posted earlier, its probably not gonna be any more or less aggressive than a flowerhorn and its gonna be a lot uglier. $.02.

i dont own a snake head nor a tiger fish those are only my thoughts and i was asking you guys what are some good combos to get a badass fish that will kill anything in its path

my private breeder had a red terror x fh (zzxSilk) mate with a manaconda jag x red terror, meanest piece of $h1t ive ever seen ones they got to 2-3" they were already killing texas jacks dovii that were about 4-5" wish i still had the pics on my phone but due to the phone breaking and getting a new service no longer have any of my old pics:(
