RED SEA MAX PLANT TANK LOG

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Nice tank.

Nice! Do you use CO2 and fertilizer, or just plain old gravels, plants and lighting?

Both nanos are just using the power compact lighting that were built in. I'm debating to upgrade to metal halide for the Nanocube 24. But the redsea max 34 lighting gives about 3 watts per gallon so I might just leave it.

The metal halide retro upgrade for the Nanocube looks nice but not for the redsea lol. Plant tanks is all about presentation lol. Although I would love to run halides for everything.

No CO2 yet...i'm experimenting without CO2 for some plants that usually do better with it...let's see...

I am dose fertilizer but minimal right now to try to jump start everything....

I pretty much retired from monster fish keeping...lol...so i'm just happy with growing plants these days hahaha...

moving to JDM plant tanks, much easier to do...and cheaper hahahah

how are your tanks bro?

Just stick with Seachem Flourish Excel in this tank. No need for CO2 with the plants you've got in there. These RSMs are the ****

Never tried Excel but read alot of good things about it. I might try it as the tank settles in.

Flame moss added to driftwood......and more pics of the 15 baby red head geos...:)
