  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
You need a more blue dovii male JK ... that one is blending in with plants ... can't even tell he's there!!!

Great aquascaping though!!!

Awesome tank bro:) i cant wait til i can get a monster tank for some of my lil guys. your dovii is looking sweet too!! great job:)

That's a great set-up. I also light most of my tanks like that, I love the look of lighting over the center and darker areas on the end for the fish to retreat to if they feel thretened. I also feel it brings them out more because they feel more secure. Great job!

Damn justin that is a sweet tank. I love the lighting tbh. Seems really natural.

hey JK how many pounds of sand do you have in your tank? can you recommend a sand bed depth? Also is that a 3d background? if so where did u get it?

heres my full tank shot.. nothing like yours though. some people are just blessed with the gift of aquascaping

Thanks Tom! I agree 100%. It makes SA's a lot more confident and so far seems to cut down on the aggression for these two. Even if it had no effect but visually, I would still do it. My preference in all my tanks.

Damn justin that is a sweet tank. I love the lighting tbh. Seems really natural.

Thanks Jim!

Your tank looks great. That big male is already stunning, I can't wait to see it all settled in after a few weeks. I use a pound per gallon unless a tall tank. This tank has 250lbs which was great until he decides to pile it all up against the front of the acrylic... I move it back during WC's, it keeps him busy. It is a 3D background: the "Mangrove" from www.designsbynature.net (those guys are great and MFK'ers as well ;))

They are the company bringing in the background for the next tank too. This tank is going to the festae pair (once they grow/pair up). They just got this background in 78"x36". Perfect for a 600 gallon with overflow towers.
