I'll be there for 4 days! This will be my 14th convention in a row, I can not imagine not going. 11 hour drive this year, we drove two days to go to the Denver convention! Most are held in the east because most of the people who keep cichlids live in the east, the two California conventions were very poorly attened. Next year will most likely be in Indy and possibly Denver the year after that. Bids from local clubs who wish to have a convention are approved a year in advance. Want a major show in your city, put together a bid! I did 3 times and we got accepted twice, thus the 2002 and 2008 ATL conventions. Ken

See you there, Ken!

Bringing any fish to sell?

I'm very interested in this convention and it will be my first. I will attend the sunday auctions any tips ? How do I pay for the $10 bidder card online? Anybody here going have anything to sell?

Online registration is closed so you'll need to register on site. Here are details about the auction: http://www.ccadoesaca.com/auction.html

There will likely be over 1,000 bags of cichlids in the Sunday auction...and lots and lots of fish available from attendees prior to Sunday.

There is another auction for the rarest fish donated by Florida Fish Farmers (called the BABES auction) on Friday night. You need full registration for that one, though...
