Well i was going for more of the south america ones but i guess africans and cichla count as other so just vote other and post what you voted for.

Almost all of those listed are CA cichlids rather than SA. Ones I prefer to any listed:

Geophagus altifrons, abalios, winemilleri, dicrozoster...
Acarichthys heckelli
Cichla (any of them--seriously a blood parrot is more attractive than a peacock bass??)
Crenicichla--several species; multispinosa and lugibrus in full color are incredible
SATANOPERCA DAEMON---is there really a more attractive cichlid than a strung-out daemon?

personally i like the way the festae looks (wish i could find one of those) didnt see it on the list, real cool fish but i picked the green terror, very beautiful as adults.
