i stuff my shrimp with massiovore pellets and all the big guys get what they need... just stuff those silversides..and you can also dip the silversides into a vitamin mixture..

Cichlid sticks might be easier to stuff into the silversides than pellets. Keep us posted on your progress. Good Luck!

Your gonna love it when you need to wear your shorts to feed your fish.Update found out by mistake when I was feeding the dither redhooks one of my Pbass developed a taste for Hikari algae wafers.. I guess he likes the way they dance as the sink to the bottom... now he is the only one that refuses massivore and wants algae wafers..

They are growing like weeds on silversides , massivore, algae wafers, tiplia, perch, catfish nuggets and smelt...they are such aggressive feeders I'm wet from their splashing when they strike the surface just as the food hits the water....

How can you guys afford to feed your big predatory fish massivores and pellets. I only have one cichla, a 12 inch brokopodo, but he is eating about 6-4 inch silversides a day. I get them from a local asian market individually frozen for 2.99 lb. When shrimp are in season, just starting now, I can get them for about 2.25 lb or so, so they get a lot more shrimp that time of year. As it is my tank gets 10 oz of food once a day. Granted there is 6 stingrays, a 24 inch arowana, an 18 inch tigrinus, and a few other minor consumers, but if I had to drop 10 oz of pellets a day into the tank I would go broke.
Update minions have graduated to full size smelt ( 4-7" fish) stuffed with Sera Arowana pellets....... Growth seems to be accelerating !
Also have my Jurensese and Clown Knife eating same menu item...... 1 lb a week.....
