*sighs* i'm not going to go over the same topics over and over. rules have changed, we're a passing league now. running teams haven't won a superbowl in 3 years. that coincides with all the rules changes that favor the offense. i've mentioned that top passing teams did significantly better last year then running teams did. i've presented a bunch of reasons for why i feel the way i feel and i've mentioned that a weak QB can be carried by a strong defense (IE see eli manning superbowl year, mark sanchez, rex grossman in chicago, kerry collins in tennesee a few years ago etc etc). i just don't see Washington as a team that's capable of carrying rex grossman or beck this year, so sue me.
ps, playoff success is a horrible way to rate a QBs effectiveness. the best example from recent year is joe flacco first round match up against the patriots in 2009. he threw 4-10 with a pick, no TDs. his team won 33-14. let's compare that to aaron rodgers against the cardinals the same year. 28 for 42 with 4 TDs. team losses 51-45. Who was the better playoff QB that year?
