May just be a money saving move. I'm sure they planned to transition to Gabbert as soon as they feel he's ready. Not that with Garrard they would have won many more games this season anyway, so they save some money and make it easier to eventually start Gabbert.

Eli is great-it's the line I'm questioning.any qb can look bad if not protected ! Some people get confused by the media,by design so they won't know who to bet on.I wish the skins had eli!
actually the Giants have the best line in the division. All Offensive lines have looked horrible, so you can't really judge them yet. Last year their line was one of the best, with Beatty, Diehl, Seubert, Snee, and Mackenzie. Now its Beatty, Diehl, Baas, Snee, and Mackenzie. I don't see much of a difference other than we improved our center spot, so I'm not worried at all.
I actually thought seubert was hurt and baas was a backup,but they need to pass block better.A new center may be what they need
