feed it mealworms or superworm only for about a week, then starve it for a day or two then feed it hikari sticks, they should eat. but depending on luck, how hungry is it and the size of the arowana.
anyone tried breeding earthworms? the earthworm i have here is maroon colour, when squeezing the soil out, it will have a thick yellow pus, is it safe for my arowana?
The LFS near where I work has newborn mice, or gerbils or hamsters. Lets say rodents. They keep them refrigerated. Could be worth a try. I doubt it's good on a regular basis though. Too much fat and cholesterol. Bugs are probably best. Maybe the occasional bird. That sounds good. parakeets are cheap. maybe baby chickens.
