Horror movies

Maybe more of a thriller than a horror film but Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho is one of my favorites. It's not really that scary but it's very good for it's time.

Maybe I just always scared the crap out of myself when I watched them. I always had a habit of watching them alone late at night in the summer with the windows open, so I always got freaked out whenever I heard a weird noise outside.
Gotta agree with 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later, but Zombieland I thought of more as a comedy.
 
I have zombieland on my DVR and throw on atleast twice a month to kill 20 minutes and everytime I watch it I wound up going on line looking for a mare leg.
 
Tommy Knockers, mind ripper, people under the stairs, wish master, thinner, misery, creepshow, candy man, blood: the last vampire.

+1 for me also. I'm not really sure why nothing else has scared me like the early Nightmare movies did. (I did live on Elm St. for a while!)
 
a couple of older movies that came to mind when a buddy asked for recommendations is Salem's Lot and Howling.

freaked me out as a kid. I'd like to hear what others think of them if anyone's seen them.

Also An American Werewolf in London is a good flick.

Has anyone seen Seven Doors of Death? I saw this as a kid and remember it being scary but not sure what I'd think of it now

I know I've seen these films, but its been so long that I don't remember them. I guess if I can't remember I might as well watch them again.
