Anyone ever have Godfather Pizza?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
there's Godfather's in washington but i've yet to run into one in oregon. personally it was my favorite. i'd rank it higher then dominos and pizza hut but they're so different that tough to choose between papa john's and Godfather's.

hand's down lil ceasar's has the best value with their 5 dollar pepperoni's or 8 dollars all the meats but all other franchises destroy them with better taste.

PS, if you haven't tried dominos since they switch their dough last year, you need to try it

i find it interesting anytime the topic of pizza comes up people make a big deal about the Northeast. do you guys realize that the rest of the nation is NOT loaded with small indepentently own shops? theyre mostly franchise? it's all about what you grew up with. personally y'all retarded thin crust pies do nothing for me

thanks for that info, i'll have to try dominos just to see.

and i get lil ceasar's hot n ready once in a while for the convenience and low price. they are actually not bad when you eat them fresh. but when they cool down they taste like cardboard and the longer they sit, the lower their quality of taste goes as well.

interesting you bring that up, i loved lil ceasar's in washington but then i moved here and the one by my place tasted like crap. i'd try it every once in awhile when i was watching football but it just tasted like cardboard. then i started seein this chick and there was one by her place and sometimes we'd get it for dinner. it was delicious! we split and i tried one by my place again, cardboard again! it could just be your location? i now drive further away and stop at a different store and it's always delicious hot or day old

maybe you're right, i've only had the hot n ready by my house. i've never tried it at another location before. i'll have to test that theory some time

funny thing is, i tried their supreme one time, dude, the quality sucks donkey nuts. you'd expect it to be better than their hot n ready, but it necessarily isn't as far as quality goes, lol

yeah, lol, they made an executive decision to go with value over ingredients and completely revamped their menu years ago. huge change from what they use to sell and focus on. their all the meats is pretty good though. helps cover up the poor ingredient taste with some bacon and sausage

Had Domonos a few years ago and it reminded me of Chuck E Cheese's,like cardboard with cheese on it and have not tried it since.

yeah last december they revamped their entire pizza. switched to garlic crust, different sauce, it's sweeter and spicier and different cheese blend. you've gotta atleast give it a try since the revamp

We had a Godfathers pizza place here until the late 80's. I went there once and liked it.

I hate thin crust pizza... it's nasty. It's like eating a cracker with toppings on it on.

I used to hate pizza hut in the 70's and 80's because all they offered at that time was the thin crust, then when they added thicker crust they got so much better.

Around here they have Papa Johns, Dominos, Pizza Hut, Mr. Gattis, Little Caesars, Cici's and Papa Murphys(copycat of papa johns?).
