Your thoughts on recent mini tiger boom

I just think it's irresponsible to order fish by the hundreds to hand pick a select few. To me it devalues the rest and the species as a whole. To some people they may just be fish (not saying that's what you think) but to me they're living beings and they deserve better than that. Regardless if these mini tigers make an appearance every year or so or not is beside the point as well, STs are gone now because of over fishing and if we keep ordering so many young tigers at once the same will happen to the others (IT NTT NGT AT) whether it's a year from now or 10 years from now or 20 years from now. Maybe I'm overreacting to it a little bit and maybe it's nowhere as big of a deal as I think it is but it seems like history is slowly repeating itself only there's an extra bar on these tigers.
i agree wholeheartedly. IT's are still beautiful fish and all this CT IT ST crap is really devaluating the beauty of classic IT
the difference between a large sweeping stripe vs two stripes in the middle is the difference in thousands of dollars? just doesnt make sense to me
you know, good IT about the size of your hand are very expensive here. Last time i looked they were going for about 150 us. I guess that's because not many of the small ones make it.
That's about what they go for here as well and I think for the same reason....Mini tigers are just baby dats,surely you must have seen them in stores at some point........I agree with Gage on the point of buying a whole box of dats just to hand pick a few being irresponsible.
I agree the state of dats is scaring me a little, and I think the availability of babys in that quantity is unnerving. Never seen em that small here, and come to think of it I actually have never seen a dat over 5 inches in my life and that was an ntt that I owned and then traded in. That is also the only NTT I have ever seen.
