Naw I feel like neons are too small and cardinals are better looking, so for the same price Ill take cardinals anyday

ive got a school of 15 Columbia tetras in my 55 along with some others and i love them. they are all around 2" now too so good size and lots of color too!

Serpae tetras and bleeding heart tetras are nice and colorful.

I like the Colombian tetras too.

red spotted kyburzi tetras or bucktooth tetras.

Red eye tetras are nice and so are serpaes.

I have cardinal tetras I got from petsmart.. only lost 1 because my male betta attacked it. Other than that, I've not had any issues with them.

I also have neon tetras, black neon tetras, rasboras, odessa barbs, and golden barbs all together.

Any of them are great fish to keep.

if you like contrast black widow tetras would be a good addition

Thanks for all the suggestions everybody, but im pretty much set on what I want. I'm going to pick them up tomorrow, now my biggest challenge is not picking up any diseases from petsmart

Picked up 9 cardinals today, that's all they had left because they are selling very quickly. Surprisingly 8 of them seem to be in great health, but one looks a little iffy. Hopefully it can make it. I think I'll pick up 10 more next week if they get any in.

I didn't like the health of the columbians they had, so I'll check back on those next week too
