Finally have a pair of Jags!

Any issues with the male trying to eat the eggs? My male keeps trying to eat the eggs but the female will take a nip at his face. The last 2 spawns were unsuccessful because the male and female started eating the eggs.
Any pointers now that you have a proven breeding pair and been one of the few (that I can find anyways) to successfully breed them?

They just spawned again 3 days ago. 2nd day wigglers today. No issues with the male, and I didn't lose any fry that I know of. I keep my Jags well fed before spawning with sinking carnivore pellets because I read on another forum that the Jags sometimes confuse the eggs for round pellets - I don't know if it's true or not but I didn't want to take chances. I also do 50% water changes for the week right before the female looks like she will lay eggs so nitratea are at 0 when they do spawn. From the research I have done it seems to suggest that egg mortality rises significantly as nitrates increase. About 100 of my fry from the first batch went to well known breeder/importer here on the East Coast and the other 100 I'm currently getting ready to sell.
Where are you located? My pair just spawned yesterday so lets hope this time is successful.

I have never shipped to Canada, but would consider it if I don't have to deal with extra customs or permitting.
I would definitely like to order a handful, since I been ordering fish I haven't heard of to much issues getting them shipped from across the border. Please let me know if their are any issues on getting them shipped and I will see what I can do to make it a bit easier.

Here are some pics from this evening... I didn't realize how many eggs were there until I saw the fry free swimming in the tank. Easily 1,000 fry. I tried counting and them estimating the amount from a smaller count. I had 3 eggs turn white and that was it.
