Harry has been busy lately, very nice.

wow:drool: that looks amazing and harry is busy being a mad scientist in my eyes haha i cant wait till i can get the wLim filter with the set up we discussed earlier
LOL!!! He probably wishes he was :naughty:

I was under the impression that reactors needed lower flowrates to allow more contact time with the media, making it more efficient. Or is this dependent on the kind of media? What kind of media is that?
Different ways to reach the same goal Allen you know that ...The media is Floating Wlim media i gave it a try and it works great it's floating yet weighs ten pounds per cubic foot!!! Pretty cool media.....

So how many cubic feet is in your tub and what size is the tub? Is it similar to the K1 media?

What do these bead filters polish down to as far as a micron rating?

What else is in there for bio besides the cubic foot in the reactor?

How many rays are gonna end up in this tank?

Do those pumps use the same motors as Darts?

Definetly a pretty fancy setup going on there...... :) Water looks very clear.

What do these bead filters polish down to as far as a micron rating?NOT BEADS ALLAN CRUSHED GLASS :WHOA:

What else is in there for bio besides the cubic foot in the reactor?HARRY ALSO HAS TWO 75 GALLON DRIP SUMPS AT THE MOMENT ON TOP OF EVERYTHING ELSE.

How many rays are gonna end up in this tank? I THINK 6 RIGHT NOW but ten in the end

Do those pumps use the same motors as Darts?NO THEY ARE EMERSON MOTORS SIMULAR TO DOLPHIN IT'S ALL IN THE IMPELLER DESIGN!!!!!THE LARGER PUMPS DO COME WITH BALDOR MOTERS THO....

Definetly a pretty fancy setup going on there...... :) Water looks very clear.
Harry thanks ya!!!!

I read a thread about he sintered glass, but surely they give it a micron rating......

10 rays sounds like a lot for a cubic foot of bio and some sintered glass.... Surely you plan on adding more bio....

I was doing some digging on those specs and it looks like Darts offer just as much flow at 1.4 amps using the Baldor motor.

Do all 3 of those pumps run all the time?
