did u collect native plants also? if so how did you go about aquiring/adding them to your setup? looking to do a pure native tank starting this spring!

i did once, i collected some val just americana vale, but it didn't do too well. the leaves on the plant just aren't as long and thick as the ones you can buy in the store. I've also collected hairgrass and a pogostemon species but neither grew very large. I just buy mine from local fish stores but i try to keep as natural looking as possible.
Very nice tank! I hope one day to get a nice setup like yours! What are the dimensions of the tank? Looks quite big.
its only a standard 72g. I tried to make it have the big tank feel. Later tonight ill post some update photos, the plants have grown in alot and there is a few extra minnows.
