FISHING SEASON 2K12!!!!!!

Good grief that's a monster. Shame it's dead.


Been netting the snot out of shiners, minnows, bluegill and crappie. Missed 10 fish over last 24 hours. I can only assume gar on account of the way they are swimming off and I set the hook and there's nothing there. Got plenty of bait so I can only hope for better luck.

Caught 3 rainbow and 4 browns yesterday....12-18".

Well evening started out the same, missing fish. Lost a big one. Then I finally got goin and landed a nice 3lber that looked 5 to me and finally landed one of those gar that keep killing my bait(a decent longnose with a lot o fight in him) then finished the evening with a big pickerel. Will have to post pics when I get home this weekend.

Got a lot of shiners in the net. Hope they hold up in the live well and hope the rain cooperates! Landed a small bass this morning and some gar. Bass aren't extra active so the gar are having a field day.

Tore them up today. Landed 5-6 bass, 5 gar, 1 pickerel and missed about 10 others in about 2 hours this evening. Most ran about 3 lbs. Sat out there in some strong rain for a bit but wound up being worth it. I've never been so busy shuffling rods in my life. I would be unhooking one and another rod would be running. Numerous times had 2 rods under at once. Had to only run 2 rods.really hoping to find a 10+ before I leave.
