I have a DIY filter with 16 litters of siporax and bio rio.
I clean the sand every 2-3 days.

your filter is only 16 liters?? thats less than 5 gallons on a 240 gallon tank....you dont have water quality problems? I may be misunderstanding and you mean that you have 16 liters of actual filter media.....

Only 16 litters.

Until last week, I had only 8 liters, bio rio. With this, NO2 was 0.15, 6 days after water change.
I added another 8 liters of siporax, this will lower the NO2 to maximum 0.05. I will made another test next week, and If neccesary I will add more filter media.

I love the tank. I'm in the process of figuring out which ones I want for my tank. I only have 125g to work with.

I'm looking at your stock and trying to figure out what colors I want. Its a lot of fun but I must ask what are the ones that are white fish with the large black/brown sploches? They almost look jaguar-ish to me.
