name this bass, not mine, sold as temensis on the buy/sell

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Well I personally think if someone doesn't know for sure what any breed of fish is should not put people on blast.... Taking a poll on to figure out what it is thats ok but when you put people on blast is being childish... Most of us are grown folks here lets start acting like One ... Looks like nobody is sure what it is if you not sure what it is doesn't change anything.. From doing resreach there are to be 2 different temensis one is assu color phase and other is paca color phase as most common the speckled one.

If you read the link it said the assu color phase was spawning colors.....they can't be in a spawning phase at that size. Most temensis at that size that have bars, have 5 bars and a straight horizontal line head to tail.

its a guessing ,questioning type of thread

Temensis are one of the few pbass that are distinguishable from others as babies . Those definitely not tems
Interesting point.
These are tems. That's what my baby tems looked like.

Then,if they are Tems they must be a regional variant because they certainly look different from the ones that Hayn shared in post #18........

100% not tems i bought 300 baby tems over summer from a vendor and sold them in socal to a bunch of people these are farmies and come on guy's saying how do you know they are not tems....you really think wes can't id a tem from those...he has been ground breaking bringing in all the rarest cichla so i would just trust him or at least i trust wes when i buy from him. whoever is selling these should do some research and post them accordingly.

Here's the situation, we were told and assured that these were temensis by a reputable wholesaler who also was assured by the breeder ( who they get fish from regularly) that they are temensis. I was not in any way trying to sell fish that were not legit. This was the first time I had ever brought in this fish at this size so when I ordered temensis bass, I assumed that was what I received. I am very sorry to everyone and very thankfully to everyone who informed me I had the wrong fish. I have informed and refunded people who had paypaled me money for them. Again I am sorry for the mix up and confusion on the matter. It is near impossible to be expert on every fish at every stage of growth so I did not realise I had the wrong fish. That has never happened to me in the years I have been doing this. Anyways I am attaching a picture of the parents of my fish that I now know are mono's so they will be for sale@ $7.00 a piece.uploadfromtaptalk1331262846164.jpg
