I hear ya. I get real into fish keeping in the winter when work is slow, but in the summer don't have as much time. I still keep up with the tanks just not as much time to enjoy them. I am ocd and can't sit still so fish really relax me even though my wife hates them lol. When i watch my tanks i have no worries.
 
Wow great looking fish and setups. You have unique stock there. My favorite would have to be that pair of meeki. I would love to get my hands on some rio subin meeki one day they are some stunning fish.
 
@smokey, my wife hates my fish too. She says it costs to much and takes up to much space.

@rr, thanks man. I have had these meeki a long time. So many people that see my tanks are always in awe of the meeki. With all the uncommon fish I have in my tanks, its still the meeki that steal the show. Again thanks.

I like your plans to do each tank as a biotope in terms of fish at least. Other than the thoricthys and astotheros it would seem you prefer larger cichlids to smaller types. I really like how the fish are the focus of your tanks rather than decor.

Thank you andrew. I like to to say I like the medium sized cichlids. But I really enjoy them all. I don't keep anything that gets to massive like dovii or umbee because I don't think I have a tank big enough for one. Thanks again.
