PART DEUX!!! - Epic Overhaul (3D Backgrounds/300g, 250g, 120g tanks)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Simply beautiful man, what kind of sand are you using btw?

Thanks Mark! I post some pics a few pages back. It's Lapis Lustre #1C the best sound out there IMO. For this tank I am stepping it down to 120 so in case I switch this to a ray tank down the road I don't have to switch out substrate.

It'd be a good month before I start on the 600. By then you would have it worked out. How your festae fries moved?

No they move tomorrow morning along with the parents. The delay in getting the gate valve set me behind a few days and I needed 24 hours to let all the small particulate matter from installing the background get filtered out. I didn't want the fry eating it and getting it stuck in the digestive track.

My wish? I could afford to have you design a giant tank for me. Or at least be able to afford the materials and products you use so effectively.

Dude, stop posting pics! You have torn my confidence in my fish housing abilities to shreds. Enough already! I get it! I suck! :)

Such an awesome build! That takes a lot of time and patience not only to construct...but the time in taking all the pics. Thanks bud for showing us how its done. Hope your plumbing works as good as it looks. Cause this will give all of us a great option on tanks without overflows.

Lets hope bro, lets hope. The alternative is MFK just learned a valuable expensive lesson on my behalf..

Looking good man! Im excited to see those festae in there.

Thanks Brock! Me too, thanks to you they get to move in tomorrow. I was worried what I was going to do with their 125g, thanks again bro.

Now I just have to move the festae, the 125 gallon to your place, a 45 gallon and two 10 gallon tanks tomorrow. That sounds like a lot left at the old place. I thought I was all done moving tanks... :nilly:
