Is there a big difference in rio meta vs rio negro ?

I was wondering when you were buying that guy.

I was going to buy it a few days ago but I was turned off by the sellers attitude.

Glad you made the grab.

I was serious and really wanted that fish. As a true fish keeper I do admire your great collection of fish. Most impressive collection of cichla I've seen yet.

I've been seriously keeping fish since I was 16. I'm now 46. While the prices on the stuff might be good/right, still someone who is willing to fork over $300-$500 per fish and asking for a pic doesn't lack seriousness, it's just plain smart. Saves a lot of trouble for an unnecessary trip. Really....How rude of you to to claim what a "true fishkeeper" does. I never comment on stuff, but the fact that you had to rip him yet again after initially saying he was wasting your time got me riled up.

Good fish people don't treat other good fish people the way you have. Arrogance has it's price and for the moment it perhaps has cost you a sale.

To me it has nothing to do with pride----There's nothing I need or want that bad that will prompt me to do business with someone of such conceit

what i was getting at with my reply was that the "buyer" was just wasting my time and had no real intention of buying my fish. as is the case with many ppl on this site, they ask too many questions ON THE SALE thread that have little to nothing to do nor are they beneficial to the SALE THREAD. if i wanted a fish, really badly, i would get it. many serious buyer have picked up fish from me and there have been no problems and they have ALL been happy buyers. then there are the rest... the guys who just ask questions that ARE SPECIFICALLY answered in the original post. my post said to TEXT me for photos. i did this in the hopes of weeding out trollers and non serious buyers. within a few hours of the post going up i had sold a few fish to SERIOUS buyers. then the rest of the thread went to crap with silliness. i know im coming across as a dick, and thank you for standing up for those who you think i was flaming, but seriously its nothing but ppl just being silly and wasting my time. i tried to avoid it but i just keep on getting flamed by NON SERIOUS BUYERS AND HATERS. all the SERIOUS guys are sitting home right now with their AWESOME FLAWLESS PELLET TRAINED BASS with grins on their faces. the rest of you guys can just keep hating on me.....

I have been keeping fish since i was 14 im 52 now. Shut up!!! No one cares!! Bump for great fish!
