oh I didn't see that. I believe you are right Clownknife! Good job :P

nope!
that pic from cic-for is obviously a Copadichromis Azureus, and a scienochromis looks nothing like a peacock, with its more tubular shape.amateur hour!lol
p.s.....since nobody bothered to tell you,to keep these fish in a 33 g tank is borderline criminal-way to small!

Oh and according to Ad Konings, Aulonocara nyassae have never been imported into the U.S.

The Aulonocara nyassae trade name fish is readily available on the market, but the fish varies a lot. This makes me think it is a line-bred fish.

@Spartacus, his sciaenochromis fryeri and others are all juveniles still, but it won't take them long to grow into adults...

It's prob around 3 and needs to be moved to a bigger tank now.Someone should have mentioned this before page 2,in my opinion.Just trying to help. These fish won't grow properly without space, and once again, that link showed a pic of an Azureus.

Not really seeing as how at this point they all look to be evenly spread though out the tank. It when you can't get a picture of just one fish is when you have the problem. lol

evenly spread out,and a pic of 1 fish has nothing to do with it.The tank is too small, period. If you are arguing this, then don't cuz you are wrong! Most of these fish will get to a foot.Don't give people bad advice. they come from the one of the biggest lakes in the world, and people don't know, that's why they ask.So if you don't know what you're talking about, then just listen.

Your right, I just googled auionocara nyassae and chose a random pic...thanks for pointing that out

Name one.

+1....none of his fish will get to be a foot....some say placidochromis milomo get to be 11" but its more likely that they max out at 8-10"...same goes for nimbochromis venustus
