Dovii and Midas photo series

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I know your dovii can be 10x more beautiful; because I see he lack the clors and shine.

But they look good. especially the dovii and size size

trollllll !!!! he looks great brotha and glad to see the female out by his side ;)

That male Dovii, is very impressive !

I've got to say it, because it doesn't look like anyone else is going to... I have seen tons of threads where people have been abused for having smaller Dovii than this in similar sized tanks. Somehow you have a 17"/18" Male Dovii with a female in a 125g, and as if that wasn't enough, you have added a divider and a midas, to the same tank.

Even if this is a temporary situation, i'm sure the purchase of the midas and even the female could have waited, until suitable housing was available to you.

Seems like there is one set of rules for some and a different set for everyone else.

Troll. He has the 300 gallon, the moving process is taking longer than he expected. He bought the dovii with the expectation that it'd be in the new tank almost immediately. Life happens, but he has a separate tank for the midas (read the thread). They don't seem to be killing each other at all, so why comment on it if the situation seems to be working, even if it is only temporary.

Demp, I think they're doing wonderful and I can't wait to see the midas in his own tank... That nuchal hump will be HUGE!!

Oh get over it he is fine im sure if he likes him he will go in a bigger tank, he looks well cared for and thats what is importantant, all you guys saying" oooooh if you by a dovii better get a six hundread gallon" gimme a break a fish in any size take is not the choice of a fish and would rather be in a 100 acre pond. So stop winnong

I'm a troll, for suggesting that someone keeping a 18" male dovii with a female, a divider and a miads in a 125 really should have thought about buying the female and the midas until his tank situation was sorted ?

Knowing that problems had already occured with the 300g is all the more reason to be aware that problems can and do appen and make sure that the Dovii is housed adequately before buying more stock !

Your a troll cause you roll in here saying negative crap.

One of my biggest pet peves of this forum is the ranting and wining of people tank sizes, if that dovii was in a 30g then it would be time to step in.

One of my biggest pet peeves is people that buy fish when they clearly haven't bothered to put the time into cycling a new tank and having adequete housing available to them before buying fish ! But there ya go...

Pic of the Midas tank for the troll ;-)

I'm sure it will look fantastic, once there is actually a midas in there and not sharing a 125 with a Dovii pair
