Wow those are some pretty cool fish. I think they would really make the tank pop. The only problem I see is from the little research I have done, they are CA/SA cichlids. Would they be too aggressive? The only stock that is definite are the 6 tiger barbs, 6 Roseline, and hopefully 2 bristlenose plecos. So would the rams still work with the fish? Also would any other cichlids work? If possible, I really need a layout of how many of what fish I should get. I am only 16 and I don't have a lot of experience in compatibility and I still have a lot to learn. Thanks

You could get quite a few rams in there too, 10 would be an easy fit. And you can mix different variety of ram too. There are some other cichlids that could work, though not many, challicromis (spelling?) would be alright, I love mine. They are African.

Rams are SA/CA cichlids, BUT they are really quite peaceful. They can be used as community fish. German blue rams are some of the coolest looking fish out there. Bolivian rams are cool and super hardy. They would be great in your tank.

This thread is making my head hurt. Puntius denisonii (roseline barbs) appreciate cooler temps in the lower 70s and Mikrogeophagus (rams) like it hotter. They are also difficult to keep alive, not recommended for a new hobbyist. I will come back later with some more constructive advice once I've recovered.
