just like buying asian aros. see fish and don't see the name on the cert. if you like the fish, buy it. if not, there are other options! then again, we don't have that kind of selection for nice dats up here lol.

i agree it is a very nice fish. i made this post cause i thought it might be a ST and if it was it would be a good deal for someone who is looking for one. at this point i am looking for smaller fish, it could/would eat all my fish except my Arowana.

Its all good! Just wanted to explain to people st ct it doesnt make a difference if one likes the fish. We get so caught up about what people think that we forget why we keep fish lol. Personally i rather have a stable tiger, be it IT CT or ST.
Agreed and I'm not too familliar with these CT's but if I come across one that is labeled as such and I like it's looks enough I'd probably get it.

if i was paying top money for a tiger i would want perfect stripes and ST tail stripes
if you can live with the IT tail stripes and the price is right buy it
it takes a long time to be able to tell the difference and not just hit and miss on IT CT or what ever T you want to pick out of the air
if the truth be said you shouldnt be buy a $1k+ fish if you cant tell what you are buying you shouldnt need to ask
