Who needs Widebars when an Indo looks as good as this? I actually prefer the shape/markings of the Indo now I've seen their true potential - and I have had Widebars too. I reckon there are going to be some stunning fish in a few years time with all the oddball markings around at the moment.
Yes, I personally like an IT that has a tall, high-body shape such as this one... with nice symetrical stripes. I mean dont get me wrong, I still like widebars, but when they are at a big size, unless the widebar is almost near perfect with clean perfect symetrical stripes, that Indo that has the 4 clean bars, will sometimes look more clean than the widebar; because of the IT's 4 bars, it gives it a more 'evenly spaced look' to it. Pic of old IT, tall high-body shape too. I liked it.

Thanks Richard yeah the tinnys are monsters in their own rite but they dont get in the way of the big boys lol.
Impressive size Indo Datnoid. I thought it was a Siamese Datnoid at first but after reading your post I was shock that Indo Datnoid can get that big.
