Update time.....

So he's been doing great no problems at all. He is starting to grow fins where is wound was swimming like nothings wrong. so I got him some tank mates 3 albino Corys and a neon tetra. Since he's out of danger for an infection I dont want to do daily water changes so the Cory's will help with excess food.

It's quite a funny looking tank with 4 albino fish and a neon tetra.

Corydoras do help with excess food, but this is not the main purpose of water changes. Water changes remove things from your water that you can't see (mainly nitrates and dissolved organics) that are not good for your oscar. Depending on the type of filtration and the tank size, you should still be doing at least weekly water changes. Oscars have a big appetite and all the waste they're putting out eventually translates into more nitrates and DOCs, hence the water changes.
