For anyone who has a petland discounts near them, they stock up to 90g in store and usually have 2-3 1$ per gallon events. Even though they stock 90 gal tanks the usually have a disclaimer going up to 75 gal only. more often then not if you ***** enough they will bend and sell you a 90 at that price. As far as dates are concerned I'm at a lack of wisdom there. the big one is usually from black friday through new years sometimes longer.

I can go with that. I haven't seen it at petsmart. They do have tanks for sale though. you just need to watch the ads and check online.

I been waiting for this sale as well but couldn't wait any longer so i picked up 40B at a whole seller near me but still cost me 75 and i still had to buy the top. Then i found out petsmart have sale of 40B i think just over 100, includes top, tank and light.
My lfs sells up to 75 gallons. The 75 full setup costs only $350! My lfs is cheap! Check our ur lfs to see what they have... I'm gonna try and see if the lfs owner can hook me up with a 220 or something! Lol he's so chill... He even let's you negotiate on prices of EVERYTHING in the store! I got him down to $3 for some blood parrots but then my dad said no D: lol just look around. I offer on Craigslist $1 per gallon and they usually say yes.

Two years ago the sale ran for four weeks from mid June until mid July. I bought a couple 40b, looking forward to the sale again this year.

i bought 20 40B once and sold all of em for $60 each lol
i use to like this sales event until i started buying tanks direct from the manufacturer at discounted whole sale prices!
1. your LFS sucks if they only sell up to a 75g... really sucks... lol
2. $350.00 for a 75g is the biggest ripoff ive heard/seen in awhile... now i know where not to move if i ever decide to. not friendly to my wallet that supports my hobby...
3. i paid $350.00 for a turn-key 175g acrylic setup...
4. most LFS will negotiate prices
Petco in Hawaii did the sale couple of times then stopped. They even sent me a flyer to my home advertising the sale and when I went I was told they were not participating(boy was I mad) I even called the main customer service # and got the run around on why they sent out the advertisement to my home if our state is not participating in it . Reason for them not participating is probably because everyone only bought tanks from them and bought everything else from LFS , I know I did

Ya my lfs is the cheapest around. A 75 gallon full setup around here will cost over $500.
