Keep my hands out of Red Tex's tank.

My clownfish is so cranky, I'm afraid to stick my hand in the tank! I just cleaned out all the LR to change the water and get some large chunks of algae out of the tank and while my damsel was darting around for her life, here's my Dolly, telling me off! haha, I love her so much! :D

My blood parrots have tried several times to get me. Since they have the normal blood parrot mouth that can't close, they are not able to bite.

I have this one female king kong blood parrot that always tries to bite me. Since I know she always wants a piece of me, I know to watch out for her. But sometimes my mind wanders while doing water change and she got me really good last month on the underside of my arm. She also has a mouth that doesn't really close, but somehow she still drew blood. I still have a slight scar that's about 3/4" long. She has teeth and sucking power I guess. So even with that weird mouth of their's, they can still draw blood!

This same fish actually jumped out of the water to try to get me last year. My hand was hovering just above the water as I was grabbing something with my other hand, and she jumped for me. But since she doesn't have a proper mouth, she just gave me a wet head butt on my hand. But it scared me cause I wasn't expecting it.

I learned that my wolf fish really enjoyed finger foods....I had to pay close attention to it and remove my hand quickly before he would strike.

The same thing happens to me all the time. When they do it I laugh like crazy.

My parrots have done the same thing, they get territorial. Except my parrots bite actually hurt because she can open her mouth wider.
