with those lilys and grass a frog would probably do well there. look up some vids on youtube to show you some tricks.

I have to get me a frog lure any suggestions? I'm heading to Florida in a week and I'm sure frogs will do very well there

spro frog poppers, black and yellow or bullfrog pattern. excellent baits, expensive but if you tie on some braid you shouldn't lose any.
 
+1 for the Spro frog. Love how it's weighted so you can really chuck it out there and even when it takes on a little water it seems to float pretty well. If you get good with them you can walk-the-dog too. For frogs the Spro is hard to beat IMO.
 
Today had to be the saddest and happiest day of my fishing career I caught this awesome 15.4lb carp which gave me the best fight I've ever had. What really sadens me is that I went to grab him by his gill plate and I heard a crack so I was scared to grab him there then I grabbed him with my lipgrip to weigh him and his lip ripped. I feel so horrible I hurt this awesome fish that way :(

Yeah, you really can't gill hold big carp like that. They have really soft gill tissue and there isn't much cartilage in their mouths either... I usually just grab their tail and support their fat bellies.

Nice catch though.

So there's really no right way to weigh em then? I feel so bad man in the pics I was happy but right after the release I felt so bad
