What's the definition of "dead" in this context? Because I'd be willing to put $100 on a bet that boxing won't die.

Hell I'd even do a 2 to 1 bet. I lose, I PayPal anyone $100, I win PayPal me $50

Wut now?? If you're so confident boxing is dead, this is free money right? If no one takes my bet then like I said, talking out the arse
 
saying boxing is dead may be a prisoner of the moment overreaction but you have to admit pac man vs money is only intriguing if both fighters are at the top of their game...either of them taking loses just makes it a battle of 2 different styles and 2 crazy fan bases finally going at it.....not the same luster it had before. might as well just be a celebrity boxing match now

I'm positive 99% of the people saying boxing is irrelevant doesn't even follow boxing. They only know money, pacman and a handful of other well known boxers. Trust me, visit a boxing forum, get some facts, learn something, you'll see that boxing is fine. I guarantee the ignorant posters saying boxing is dead will get a new one drilled into them with actual facts proving boxing is doing fine and is still outselling mma

Btw, not intriguing?? To who?? Of course it's not intriguing to the people who are on team mma. It's like team mma vs team boxing, like, team Jacob and team Edward of the combat sports world. Trust me, they can fight tomorrow and still draw more ppv than any, I mean any ppv mma will ever do in the next ten years I bet.

Is it less intriguing compared to a couple years ago? Sure, but make no mistake, it would still be the fight of the century.

UFC is way to under developed as a sport theres only a couple mma fighters that are any good at what they do from a artistic stand point like boxing. and sense all the guys of the last generation just kept loosing terribly I gave up hope in it my self. and than the loosers keep getting Ppv headlines just to make the company money an screw the fans that's not right. And plus mma as a whole is just sloppy for the most part compared to simply boxing or another martial art form.

^ I remember watching MMA like 10 years ago if not more when it first came out and absolutely loved it, now with all the rules etc in place it did lose a little bit of the craziness of a no holds bar cage fight...

Although i understand that rules needed to be set for it to become a proper sport, but i guess the blood thirsty side of me misses seeing people getting torn into and beaten really badly with no one to stop them till the other mans completely out...
