squirrels find less than 25% of the nuts they hide. Easily able to bee tricked and they never learn. If those are that high up on the list, then the animal kingdon as a general rule is pretty dumb.

That list is laughable.
Parrots are on the same step as chimps, so are crows. Mantis shrimps are very intelligent as well and so are monitor lizards

This list is hilarious. animal planet is not a credible source of info lol. The order is messed up and the reasoning for putting some of them on there is kind of stupid. And no, dogs, while smart, would not make the list. There brains are about 20% smaller in comparison to body size than wolves. being smart has little use to domesticated animals. In fact most domestic animals have smaller brains than their ancestors, one domestic animal that had an increase in brain size is guinea pigs. I love reptiles but no reptile would make the top 10, but research has shown most are smarter than what many people believe. anoles(i think it was anoles) have been used in experiments to test problem solving abilities and they could solve a puzzle somewhat similar to a puzzle that might be used with a crow. I think we under estimate the intelligence of animals in general.

Well monitor lizards are reptiles and on the same intelligence level as parrots. They can even count.
I agree parrots should be close to the top of the list. Way smarter than a crow. There is an African grey parrot that tested to have the same intelligence level as a 6 year old.
