Fish keeping is an easier hobby then meteorite keeping haha..

i found it im egypt in 2009. i had a excursion into the desert there. all stones the are limestones with white and yellow color. as i walked there that black stone catched my attention. As i grabbed it i noticed its super heavy for its size. Its as big as my hand but weight more than 2 kg. i also noticed that its surface looked molten and later in hotel that its magnetic. turned out to be a meteorite. i have no clue how valuable it is. from what i know, its a really big chunk. but i would never sell it.
Neat find, but one must be curious, how can you be certain its a meteroite, not just something that fell off a truck or the left-overs from a bomb somewhere, you know? I'd just like to point out that I don't know, so I ask...
There are no trucks, its a complete remote area. Also it has the typical molten surface and analysis shows it also has the typical iron, nickel mixture of iron meteorites. Also that area is known for many meteorite fragments. I showed it Dr. Jentsch from my University in Jena, he is the curator of the geological institure and was 100% sure its a meteorite.
