i found it im egypt in 2009. i had a excursion into the desert there. all stones the are limestones with white and yellow color. as i walked there that black stone catched my attention. As i grabbed it i noticed its super heavy for its size. Its as big as my hand but weight more than 2 kg. i also noticed that its surface looked molten and later in hotel that its magnetic. turned out to be a meteorite. i have no clue how valuable it is. from what i know, its a really big chunk. but i would never sell it.
Neat find, but one must be curious, how can you be certain its a meteroite, not just something that fell off a truck or the left-overs from a bomb somewhere, you know? I'd just like to point out that I don't know, so I ask...
