I love cartimar. Although the stalls do indeed look ghetto and dirty they have some really nice selections when i was still in the Philippines. Great save btw! He kinda looks cute.

yeah ken he does look healthy, really thick but im sure its because he is really packed internally, there are some small holes in the head, you cant see them much in the pics but i guess he had some hith issues when he was in that dirty tank. every feeding time he is ok with one feeder, im guessing stomach and intestine are too compressed to be eating multiple feeders.

omojena - i actually believe that this particular fish was not raised to be like this. with 500 plus fry in each hatchling in each breeding, there will surely be defects. fry with no tail, narrow tail,no forehead,no lips, 2 bars, blind, one eyed, no left pectoral fin (i had one temensis like that before), and i guess shortbody is one of the defects of this particular batch. because if the breeder was indeed culturing these, those shortbodies will definitely not show up in the cheap fish part of the pet fish district. im no fish breeder but do i make sense?

Lambrakopolous - this guy is currently housed in a hundred gallon with 2 f1 bahia kels and 3 orinos. all are about 6.5 inches. no aggression at all from any of the fish. but for the most part he doesn't swim with the group. maybe got used to being alone.

He just needs to get reacquainted with his oh kind for a little bit. I bet in a month or two he will be very social-able. I'm glad this little guy will end his life on a very good note.
